Closing day of the FIRST CA17140 TRAINING SCHOOL

With the keynote lecture of Prof. Dganit Danino, from Haifa Technion (IL) on Cryo-TEM and other imaging techniques to characterize nanomedicine the 4-day First CA17140 Training School (TS) came to its end.

The TS featured 54 students coming to the University of Trieste from all over the continent (Greece, Portugal, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Russia, Finland, Ireland, Norway, Israel, Poland, Cyprus, Turkey, Switzerland, The republic of Serbia, Latvia, Romania, Germany, Slovenia.

The students also had the chance to present their work and exchange their experiences during two poster-viewing sections.

10 different trainers alternate during 4 days teaching the students about many different aspect of cancer nanomedicine: from their conception to their industrialization for clinical applications.

The CA17140 management is really indebted to both trainers and trainees for their commitment and their enthusiasm during all works of the TS, making it a success.

ACTION WG1 MEETING in Madeira, July 13-14 2019

We will organize the WG1 meeting in Madeira as a satellite meeting of the IDS 2019. For more info about the IDS 2019 click here.

The WG1 meeting will be a two-day event (July, 13-14). We plan both lectures and panel discussions. Due to a tight budget we cannot provide any reimbursement but we will provide free lunches although there will be no fee for participants. We will be able to say more about the program when we get your response (how many of you would like to attend).

Therefore, if you are interested in attending the meeting, getting to know WG1 participants, and starting new collaborations please write to  and .

If you would like to present your results (in the form of a talk or a poster), please send a tentative title of your presentation. If we have a lot of takers, the priority will be given to the WG1 participants. We will collect all entries till the end of this week (March, 17).
